Every single Gilles Caffier piece is carefully handmade by highly skilled craftsmen, who are our onsite team, and we trust their skills.

Our paramount environmental goal is to make products that will be used and loved for as long as possible with almost no negative effects on the natural environment. Every Gilles Caffier piece is made of the maximum natural material.

Only a handful of people work here, and they’re all extremely passionate about what they do. Every single one of them shares our love for creativity with ceramics, leather, fabric, and the idea of creating beautiful and unique things.

We watch them work and see them bring our ideas to life. We trust them to always make sure that every piece they work on is the best possible. However, it was a long creative process to get every Gilles Caffier piece to the place it is now, and we couldn’t have done it without this extraordinarily creative and skilled team.

Every piece is created by hand. The only real machine we use is a kiln. All fine-tuning is only possible by hand, for example, by crafting unique textures. It requires certain skills and special care, which machines can’t provide and is most of the time.

The most important thing is that at Gilles Caffier, we all play for the same team. We treat our employees with respect and pay them fair wages and compensation to honour their great work.

Gilles Caffier Warranty

We have high confidence in our workmanship, materials, and designs, and our customers’ happiness is paramount to us. If there’s any reason why you are not satisfied with our products, please get in touch with us so we can determine the cause of the problem and find a solution.

This warranty does not apply to product damage caused by accident, abuse, or neglect. Also, the warranty doesn’t cover the natural change of materials due to aging.

Please note that most of the raw material used is natural, a living material, and 100% hand-made, so no one piece is 100% the same as another; slight imperfections and changes in colour throughout time are part of its nature and individuality. Colours may and will differ slightly from pictures.
